Randy West (born Andrew Jay Abrams; October 12, 1947) is an American pornographic actor.[1]

West grew up in New York City, and later moved to South Florida.[1] He originally hoped to play professional baseball (though he did play baseball for the University of Miami), but he instead decided to pursue a career as a singer.[1] He was lead singer for several rock bands over the course of ten years, and also worked as a nude art model.[1] He then moved to California in 1979.[1] Randy was also a member of Chippendale's dance company, and worked as stripper at private events from 1980 to 1992.[1] For porn he went with the name Randy West instead of his Jewish name.
West began his porn career in 1978, in the film Mystique.[1] In August 1980 he posed as the centerfold model in Playgirl magazine;[1] he was the first person who posed with an erection.[2] Later he also was cast as Robert Redford's body double in the film Indecent Proposal.[1] He has worked with numerous porn actresses early on in their careers, including Seka, Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick. He was the first male performer to work with Victoria Paris and Ashlyn Gere.[1] West's sexual performance has been likened to that of a "human pile driver."[3] He has appeared in over 1,300 films, alongside an estimated 2,500 different female co-stars.[1]
